Fight For Children is a long-standing nonprofit with deep community trust, and this initiative represented the launch of a new, high-visibility event. Scaling influencer activation too quickly — without validated resonance — risked diluting the mission, weakening engagement, and creating reputational drag for both Fight For Children and Al Roker Entertainment.


What We Tested


The campaign began as a short, creator-led digital test to validate whether influencer storytelling could authentically communicate the mission and drive meaningful engagement. The initial effort focused on limited creator volume and controlled messaging to prioritize signal over reach.


Signal That Earned Scale


Early performance showed consistent engagement patterns across multiple creator types. Storytelling-driven content tied to mission alignment repeatedly resonated, indicating that results were not isolated to individual creators but driven by a repeatable approach.

Decision- SCALE

Based on validated early signals, the campaign expanded into a full activation — scaling to 17 influencers, introducing giveaways to accelerate follower growth, and extending into live event coverage to amplify digital momentum.

Outcome Signal

As the campaign expanded, core guardrails remained in place to ensure quality and trust were preserved as volume increased.

At scale, performance held without degradation: approximately 377K impressions, 365K reach, 185K engagements, and ~30% follower growth during the campaign window.

Brand Takeaway

Scale works when it’s earned. Expanding only after early signals prove repeatable protects brand equity, budget, and long-term momentum.

Scaling too quickly without understanding audience behavior risked attracting attention without generating qualified interest.


What We Tested


The campaign launched with creator-led awareness focused on education and empowerment messaging. Influencers encouraged low-friction engagement, including prompts for followers to comment or reach out directly for more information.

Audience intent surfaced through comments, link clicks, and direct outreach to creators. Followers actively requested information and engaged in conversation, signaling genuine interest — but creator posts alone lacked the control and consistency needed for reliable conversion.

Instead of scaling creator volume alone, high-performing narratives were repurposed into paid ad creative. This allowed the campaign to maintain authenticity while improving message control, targeting precision, and conversion pathways.

Lead quality improved as website visitors moved more consistently toward form completion, and creator-derived ad content delivered stronger click performance compared to static creative.

What We Tested


The sprint explored whether creators could authentically communicate the platform’s message within a compressed window. Early planning included creative guidance and strategic recommendations to reduce creator volume and clarify messaging to improve feasibility.


Signal That Earned Stop


Despite interest from creators, the timeline and creative clarity were not sufficient for confident execution. Only one creator posted within the campaign window, while others required more time to fully understand and responsibly communicate the political narrative. The issue was not creator performance — it was structural misalignment between message complexity and execution speed.

Decision- STOP

Rather than forcing content that lacked conviction or strategic readiness, the project was returned to the client with clear insight into what would be required for a future relaunch.

Outcome Signal

The sprint surfaced critical structural risks early, preventing wasted budget, rushed messaging, and reputational strain across stakeholders.
